He added 148 for the fourth wicket with Jonathan Trott, who supplied 65 before being removed by Johan van der Wath. White was given a chance to make partial amends by grabbing the edge.Tony Frost then accompanied Troughton for the remainder of the day, as the pair added an unbeaten 121 for the fifth wicket. Nicky Boje plugged away throughout, sending down 33 overs, but couldn’t add to the one wicket he took back on the second evening.The result leaves Warwickshire in second place, six points ahead of Northamptonshire in third as they chase promotion to the first division.
