Chakraborthy was the first to be dismissed falling leg beforeto Routh. His partner Arindam did not last long and with no run addedto the total, he was caught by RS Ghosh off Tushar Saha. Then SubhamoyDas (42) and A Nandi (32) added 68 runs for the third wicket off 108balls. Nandi became Saha’s next victim when he gave the bowler areturn catch. Das was dismissed soon after, caught by Gosh offDebnath.A Sarkar scored a fighting 46 but Saha and Debnath ran through themiddle and lower order to bundle out Bengal. In reply, Tripura got toface just two overs during which the openers S Paul (6) and SandipBanerjee (4) managed to come through unbeaten.
